Using Perci During an Appointment
Perci is designed to support your natural consultation style.
Below is a simple best practice workflow:
Before the appointment
- Confirm Perci is ready to record
- Ensure you have obtained informed consent
- Briefly explain to the patient how Perci supports documentation
During the appointment
- Conduct the consultation as usual
- Speak clearly and naturally
- Verbalise key observations, clinical reasoning, and recommendations (where approriate to do so)
- State agreed actions or follow-up steps aloud
Perci generates notes based on what is discussed, so clearly articulating important information improves note quality.
After the appointment
- Review the generated note
- Regenerate in your preferred format if required (e.g. SOAP, Standard, Detailed)
- Edit or refine where necessary
- Add additional observations using the voice update button if needed
- Save and approve note
- Optionally, use the share button to email note to other relevant parties
Perci supports documentation efficiency, but clinical accuracy and completeness remain the clinician's responsibility.
