Using Perci During an Appointment

Perci is designed to support your natural consultation style.

Below is a simple best practice workflow:

Before the appointment

  • Confirm Perci is ready to record
  • Ensure you have obtained informed consent
  • Briefly explain to the patient how Perci supports documentation

During the appointment

  • Conduct the consultation as usual
  • Speak clearly and naturally
  • Verbalise key observations, clinical reasoning, and recommendations (where approriate to do so)
  • State agreed actions or follow-up steps aloud

Perci generates notes based on what is discussed, so clearly articulating important information improves note quality.

After the appointment

  • Review the generated note
  • Regenerate in your preferred format if required (e.g. SOAP, Standard, Detailed)
  • Edit or refine where necessary
  • Add additional observations using the voice update button if needed
  • Save and approve note
  • Optionally, use the share button to email note to other relevant parties

Perci supports documentation efficiency, but clinical accuracy and completeness remain the clinician's responsibility.
